Bird Accessories to Get
So you’ve finally decided to keep a pet bird in the house. Sure, you’ve read through websites on bird care such as birdcareguide.com and was able to provide it with the right type of bird food and the right cage size for it to live in, so what else can you do to make your little singing pet happy?

A lot of bird owners enjoy providing their pets with accessories to keep their birds happy and busy during the day. Some of these accessories can be necessities such as their food and water bowls, extra perches to stand on or simply toys to keep them preoccupied. Any of these things are suitable for pet birds so let’s take them one step at a time.
Bowls
According to birdcareguide.com, bowls are one of the most important things to provide for your birds. They carry the food and water, so they have to be maintained almost everyday to keep the birds healthy at all times. The best bowls that you can get are plastic ones, usually medium or large in size depending on the type of bird you have.
Perches
Cages bought from the pet store usually have perches installed already, but you can also get extra ones if you plan in keeping more than one bird in the house. These not only provide the birds with more standing places, but they also give them a chance to exercise and trim their beaks.
Toys
These can always be bought in local or online pet stores. Made of wood, plastic, leather, etc., you can get these for your birds to keep them preoccupied when you aren’t tending to them at the moment.
